New Zealand sea lions (Rapoka/Whakahao)
Formerly called Hooker’s sea lions.
Can be found at: Waipapa Point, Jacks Bay, Surat Bay & Cannibal Bay, Nugget Point, Kaka Point and along the coast to Nugget Point.
Fur seals (Kakeno)
Can be found at: Waipapa Point, Nugget Point, Long Point.
Elephant Seals
Can be found: Occasionally at Nugget Point.
